Sr. Systems Engineer
As one of the Ygomi family of companies, ArrayComm, LLC, is the world leader in commercial multi-antenna signal processing software. We develop and deploy our A-MAS (ArrayComm Multiple Antenna Signal processing) software in base stations around the world to help the wireless industry improve coverage and capacity, reduce costs and improve the overall wireless user experience. As a result of our continued growth, we are opening a new Software Development and Delivery Center in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. At our new center, we have an outstanding opportunity for a Sr. Systems Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
You will independently drive the implementation and integration of our industry leading A-MAS software into our partner companies’ base stations and client devices. Specific Duties and Responsibilities include:
#822*; Own architecture definition and system requirements of adaptive antenna technology for wireless base stations or client devices
#822*; Performance characterization through analysis, simulation and experimentation
#822*; Develop product improvement requirements, working together with ArrayComm and OEM engineers to evaluate system performance and identify areas of potential system improvements
#822*; Collaboration with in-house and partner/customer engineering teams for implementation in embedded hardware and software and work with customers to develop system integration plans, with test suites for performance evaluation
#822*; Work with development teams to develop internal system integration test procedures and test cases; lead the team to execute system integration test plans, and evaluate the results
#822*; Support commercial acceptance test plan completion
Qualifications for this role include:
#822*; MS in Computer or Electrical Engineering required; Ph.D. highly desired.
#822*; Minimum of * years software development in the wireless industry including at least * years of experience in system engineering.
#822*; Deep and current understanding of *GPP or WiMAX standards and strong experience in the wireless communication physical layer is required; understanding of multiple antenna signal processing algorithms (adaptive antennas, MIMO) highly desired
#822*; Experience in specifying and designing wireless base stations, including hardware (modem cards and RF transceivers), and software (PHY and MAC) is required
#822*; FPGA, DSP design/development and MATLAB experience highly desired
#822*; Strong leadership skills with the ability to work in fast-paced, start-up environment will be necessary
#822*; Strong oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English required
